At Doclator, we want you to be fully satisfied with our AI-powered document translation service. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for purchases made on our platform.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all initial Pro subscription purchases (both monthly and yearly plans). If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase.

The 14-day window starts on the date of your first successful payment.

2. Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following apply:

  • The refund request is made within 14 days of the initial purchase.
  • The request is for your first Pro subscription (subsequent renewals are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent future charges).
  • You have not violated our Terms of Service.

3. Subscription Renewals

Recurring subscription renewals (monthly or yearly) are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing portal to prevent future renewals. Once cancelled, your Pro access remains active until the end of your current billing period.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@doclator.com with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Order ID or transaction reference (from your purchase receipt)
  • Reason for the refund request (optional but helpful for us to improve)

5. Processing Time

We aim to review refund requests within 2 business days. Once approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Subscription renewal payments (after the initial 14-day window).
  • Custom enterprise plans (subject to a separate agreement).
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We strongly encourage you to contact our support team first — most issues are resolved quickly and amicably.
